History

Cowherd Construction Company, Inc. was founded by Jim Cowherd in 1978 in Springfield, MO and has chosen to stay in the Springfield and the surrounding Ozarks community. Jim saw a need for a quality personal service contractor who cared about the construction and remodeling of every person’s dream home. Jim created a company that does not necessarily build your dream house, but builds the home of your dreams.

Specialized floor plan layouts fit the needs of any family in a price range to fit even tight budgets. Cowherd found the customer's needs in a remodeling project and expanded those needs through experience and knowledge in home building and remodeling into a space and design that fits. From a custom home building to minor remodeling, each customer received Jim’s full attention and focus to help them reach their dreams and earn their trust.

Today

From a young age, Trent Cowherd watched and learned what his father, Jim, had done in building and remodeling including Jim’s concern for each customer's interest. Trent joined Cowherd Construction Company as it was growing from a small company to a recognized business in construction in the Springfield market.

As a team, Jim and Trent continue to service customers, year after year, with the service Cowherd Construction customers have grown to expect.
